Anti-chain letters

Chances are if you've seen them once, you will or have already seen them a thousand times just as with the forwards they try to satirize and spoof. The dreaded anti-chain letters!

Those which are replicated everywhere have become chain letters. They turn up again and again in search results, and on email list posts. This is because everyone posting and putting them up probably doesn't realize there are thousands of others with the same idea, thinking the anti-chain was the funniest, most original debunk of a forward. This may explain why a search for articles that sound off about forwards brings up tons of sites that say something like "This is the cleverest, funniest, most original answer to all those annoying forwards!" only to turn out to be yet another copy of one of the anti-chains you've seen a million times and probably weren't all that impressed with in the first place. Some of these go as far as to mock the forwarding demands by telling you to forward them or else, usually inserting some absolutely ridiculous threat. The ironic thing is that people do exactly that, forward them along.
